Blueprint for a Coach

I hail from Tempe, Arizona, which fostered my wild, desert soul. I relocated to beautiful Boulder, Colorado 9 years ago. I have a unorthodox background for a Health and Wellness Coach. I started as a geologist, with a professional background in prospect mining, Superfund remediation, disaster recovery, and development review for local government (not your typical skill-set for a wellness professional!).

In my personal life, I've been a soccer player, a rock climber (bouldering and sport climbing), a sweep rower, a trail runner, a road cyclist, a mountain biker, and an occasional cross-country skier. Due to a combination of genetics, bad luck, and (now-corrected) bad form, I have also required 9 injury-related surgeries! What several severe injuries have taught me is not only resilience, but the great importance of caring for my body, mind, and spirit. Setback after setback can be damaging to our spirits. But I have decided to channel that discouragement into caring for all aspects of myself, in order to elevate my health to the point that I want. And I want to share that with you. My unorthodox professional background and life experiences have armed me with a deep background steeped in resilience and determination, and accented by gentle understanding and love.

I would be remiss not to mention some of the superpowers that I have been endowed with! I am a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP), which means that my senses are supercharged. This allows me to absorb more of the external world than the typical brain would process - great for details and connection! In addition, I am fortunate to have an ADHD brain - my brain is always processing and deeply curious! It is with great honor and humility that I highlight these superpowers and am fortunate to be able to integrate them into my practice.

My Philosophy

Your body is the only vessel that will carry you through life (currently - who knows what the future holds!). You, the individual soul, are the only person you will be with for 100% of that journey.

Your health matters.

My job as a Health and Wellness Guide is to help you deeply engage with yourself, to provide gentle support  (and some light humor) as you navigate aspects of your health and wellness. I am here to be the scaffolding to your journey.
